Layoff to Liftoff: Solving the UTV Problem We All Face
Get Skinii founder Mark Wright faced a costly choice—modify his UTV, buy a new hauler, or sell his UTV. Instead, he engineered a smarter solution for the entire off-road community.
My Story: Adversity Sparks Innovation
After an incredible 27-year career, I was let go as part of a company reduction. Ironically, the weekend before, I had been struggling with a problem that had no easy or affordable solution: my UTV was too wide for my toy hauler.
I was faced with several frustrating and costly options:
1) Manual Jack:Â Use a 1- or 2-ton jack, along with blocks and ratchet straps, to physically compress the suspension every time I load and unload the UTV.
2) Tire Swap:Â Waste time replacing the UTV's tires with skinnier ones before every trip.
3) Expensive Exchange:Â Sell my UTV or, worse, buy a much more expensive, oversized toy hauler.
Since I was a child, I’ve always wanted to invent something that solves a real problem and makes people's lives easier.
With the assistance of a Rober Dyer, Design Engineer, we created The Skinii Glide.
The Skinii Glide solves the modern UTV width problem without the use of jacks, UTV or trailer modifications, or tire swaps. It allows riders to pair newer, wider UTV models with older, more affordable toy haulers and trailers. Now, enthusiasts can stop compromising and get the most out of their gear.

Our Mission
At Get Skinii, we’re passionate about off-road adventure and solving UTV challenges. Our mission is to provide every enthusiast a more effective, efficient, smarter, and safer way to reduce the front end of a UTV that has a-arms, as to allow more options for purchasing a toy hauler and trailer, thus allowing users the opportunity to avoid costly modifications, purchasing more expensive toy haulers or oversized trailers.
The Problem
We're off-road riders just like you. We were tired of the expensive choices: buying an oversized trailer, making costly suspension modifications, or simply being limited on which toy hauler we could buy.
The Solution
Get Skinii was born out of the need for a smarter, simpler solution. We engineered a reliable, efficient device that addresses the core challenge of UTV width reduction for A-arm equipped vehicles.
